- $99,179 per annum (HEW Level 05, plus 17% employer superannuation) Role Overview The Research Officer will coordinate and deliver a large pharmacological study exploring decision‑making and motivation in healthy young adults, working within the Cognitive Neurology Laboratory at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate study activities including participant screening, eligibility assessment, scheduling, and administration of behavioural tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to research protocols, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support broader laboratory projects. Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience within cognitive neuroscience.
- Demonstrated experience administering behavioural tasks and working on pharmacological studies involving human participants.
- Strong organisational, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Current Australian work rights and willingness to comply with all pre-employment checks.
