Associate, Forensic Accounting (Melbourne)

About this role As an Associate or Senior Associate in our Melbourne Forensic Accounting practice, you will develop your career on your own terms as part of a high‑performing, motivated team. You will apply your experience and expertise across a broad range of forensic engagements, including contentious valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events, accounting reviews and investigations. The role is primarily focused on Dispute Advisory assignments. Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of forensic engagements, including business valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events and accounting reviews and investigations.
- Build and maintain beneficial stakeholder relationships, including client liaison and the provision of trusted expert advice.
- Perform detailed review and analysis of the financial performance of businesses.
- Research and analyse a variety of business, industry and economic data and information.
- Participate in business development and practice management activities, as well as provide coaching, mentoring and training opportunities to other team members. Skills & Experience
- CA/CPA/CFA qualified or currently working towards your qualification.
- Forensic accounting experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Professional services experience is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and mindset, complemented by lateral and critical thinking capability.
- Conscientious with a robust degree of accuracy and keen eye for detail.
