- Sunday Hours: Approximately 9:00 pm – 7:00/9:00 am The family is flexible with both days and finishing times and would ideally like the shifts spread throughout the week. About the Family A warm and welcoming family based in Highvale, QLD is seeking a kind, nurturing and experienced overnight nanny to assist with the care of their 2-month-old twins. The family is looking for someone calm, caring and confident with newborns and ideally experienced caring for multiples. They are hoping to find someone who can become a trusted long-term support within their household. The family also has three older children aged 15, 13 and 9 years old who are in the home every second week. Their 9-year-old son has Level 3 ASD. There is no expectation for the nanny to provide care for him, however he may occasionally come out during the evening and interact in his own way. He is a very happy child, has always been comfortable with nannies in the home, and can become curious about what is happening and enjoy brief chats or interaction. The Role The nanny will take over care of the twins from approximately 9pm each evening, allowing the parents to rest overnight while the nanny manages feeds, settling and overnight care. Typical overnight duties include:
- Feeding, changing and comforting the twins overnight
- Supporting and maintaining newborn sleep routines
- Sterilising bottles and preparing feeding equipment
- Monitoring the babies overnight and providing responsive care
- Maintaining a calm and nurturing environment The family is relaxed and realistic about the overnight environment and is comfortable with the nanny watching television during quieter periods. There is also space available for the nanny to rest or nap when time permits. Household Support While the babies are asleep, light household assistance would be appreciated, including:
- Tidying the kitchen
- Sterilising bottles
- General baby-related tidying and organisation Cooking simple family meals would be considered a wonderful bonus longer term. Pets The family has:
- 3 small outdoor dogs
- Snakes in enclosed tanks and kept out of sight No pet care is required. Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone who is:

- 3+ years strong newborn experience essential
- Experience caring for multiples highly preferred
- Childcare qualifications ideal but not essential
- Current Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills
- Non-smoker
