Technical Signage Designer - Full Time Onsite (Melbourne)

Signage and Wayfinding Designer Full Time Onsite | Altona North | 2 Months freelance, Start 10 June Design support needed for signage and wayfinding consultancy currently delivering three major tier one commercial projects. The current designer is moving on next month, we need someone to step in and keep momentum without missing a beat. This is a documentation heavy assignment. The design work is completed and approved. Your job is to take that existing design development work and roll it out across all signage variations, produce the drawings for each sign type, and get everything to a standard ready for client approval and then manufacture. There is a decent volume across the different projects. You will be working across messaging schedules, existing drawings and plans, and referencing established documentation throughout. There is potentially a wayfinding design development project in the mix, this will sit behind the production work in priority. Positive to know if you have a creative eye alongside your technical skills. The pace is fast. The deadline is fixed. They need someone who can come in, understand the brief swiftly and deliver. This role is PC based and fully onsite in Altona North. Remote is not an option. Adobe Illustrator is essential. SolidWorks experience is a strong advantage. Your portfolio will need to show relevant signage experience.
