- Meet the Secretaries Charter of Leadership Behaviours and the APS Integrated Leadership Profile (ILS) for the SES Band2 level.
- High‑level leadership and management skills, including organisational and intellectual leadership, and superior people‑management skills to support learning and capability development in a highly complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Superior stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to represent and negotiate on behalf of the department.
- Proven ability to engage constructively to support corporate initiatives and policies, building relationships across an agency and balancing local and broader agency priorities for optimal outcomes.
- Outstanding track record in leading and delivering high‑quality advice in a rapid‑moving and sensitive environment, adopting innovative approaches to complex issues as appropriate.
