About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Operational Governance to join our Operational Excellence team. This role will lead our operational governance function, working closely with Performance Management, Quality Assurance, and
Service Support to drive operational risk management excellence. You will promote a culture of governance and performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives through effective risk management, compliance, and incident management frameworks. You will develop, govern, and implement frameworks across Member and Employer Services and our partners. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead the operational governance function to uphold high standards in risk governance and operational excellence, collaborating with Governance teams. 2. Oversee incident management, Line 1 risk, and business rules compliance to safeguard operational integrity. 3. Chair and lead key forums to address governance and compliance issues. 4. Manage the incident management framework for member and employer experience, ensuring prompt and effective responses. 5. Drive continuous improvement of the business rules framework and ensure compliance with obligations such as CPS230 and FAR. 6. Collaborate effectively with all functions within the member and employer experience division. Key Selection Criteria 1. Demonstrated experience in risk management, mitigation, and controls, preferably within superannuation funds. 2. Proven expertise in Line 1 risk management and incident resolution. 3. Track record of enhancing risk and compliance frameworks and influencing organizational practices. 4. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels. 5. Ability to proactively engage, collaborate, and enable across all levels of the business. 6. A strategic mindset and a strong commitment to governance and risk excellence.
