- Work as part of a national multi-disciplinary team to deliver project goals.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Undertake field and desktop investigations on existing electrical infrastructure for capital upgrades.
- Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for electrical components to support procurement and delivery.
- Liaise with project stakeholders including clients and vendors.
- Apply technical and commercial acumen to achieve successful outcomes for projects and clients.
- Demonstrate specialist safety knowledge in areas such as protection, arc flash, earthing, hazardous areas, and machine safety principles. What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in design and delivery of projects in Water (ideal), mining, industrial or Energy sectors
- 12+ years’ experience in an engineering consultancy or design role for a contractor or asset owner (water industry preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer; RPEV certification
- Design experience in LV and ELV systems, PLC/telemetry, PTW design, and Instrumentation and Control
- Strong understanding of standards, conceptual and detailed design, and design management of electrical infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to consult effectively with clients and collaborate internally. Why Choose WSP?
