AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Controls Deployment & Service (CDS) Engineers CDS Engineers deliver and support data center building automation systems, such as Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). They deploy and service building automation systems to ensure the health of our data centers, oversee the deployment of new BMS or EPMS during builds, deliver projects to upgrade existing data centers, and occasionally assist with global support. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy data center controls on time, managing vendors to ensure minimal defects at Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO).
- Deliver critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
- Service and support partner teams, diagnosing and resolving Loss of Visibility (LOV), Loss of Resilience (LOR), Large Scale Event (LSE), Critical Scale Event (CSE), and other operational events.
- Resolve tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver initiatives to improve data center efficiency and operational procedures. A Day in the Life
- Represent Amazon across a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and operate infrastructure at an enormous scale, contributing to Amazon's global presence.
- Learn and grow in a supportive setting that fosters expertise in AWS.

About the Team The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team delivers and services the control systems that monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. The team covers six business domains: deployments, projects, service, colo, on-call support, and management. Success Skills
- Ability to thrive at the pace and scale of Amazon.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Willingness to collaborate with peers globally, including participation in meetings at odd hours.
- Willingness to travel domestically or globally as needed. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
- Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with power management and power monitoring systems. Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience with Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.
