- Coordinate media coverage for league events and games.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Manage media enquiries and ensure timely responses, escalating complex matters when required.
- Propose story angles that generate coverage and elevate the NBL brand.
- Write content for press releases, social media, newsletters, and website updates in the league’s voice.
- Support live game and event coverage, including press conferences and interviews.
- Deliver integrated communications for major moments such as Finals, Awards and community programs. Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in media, PR or communications.
- Excellent writing skills across multiple channels and audiences.
- Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Comfortable with digital media, social platforms and content tools.
- Valid driver’s licence and Working With Children Check. Benefits
