Overview Part-Time Payroll Specialist role at Sharp & Carter. Melbourne, Australia. Rare part-time opportunity with a 4 days per week or 9 day fortnight arrangement. Position Description This role is responsible for working in partnership with Finance & HR stakeholders to complete the accurate and efficient payroll processing. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Timely end to end weekly payroll processing
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Working & interpreting a number of EBA\'s and Award
- Processing work cover, superannuation and payroll tax
- Administer leave entitlements and payments
- Efficiently handling payroll related queries
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team Candidate Profile The successful candidate will possess the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll position
- Capability and desire to work both autonomously as well as among a collaborative finance team
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Robust attention to detail and positive working approach
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
