- Conduct targeted market research and environmental scanning toidentifyemerging trends, customer needs, and priority segments.
- Support the mapping of market segments, customer landscapes, and stakeholder ecosystems toidentifyand prioritise high-potential opportunities.
- Contribute to pricing, positioning, and market-entry strategies through structured analysis and on-the-ground insights.

- Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand operational challenges,validateuse cases, and test value propositions.
- Build and progress a pipeline of qualified opportunities, including pilots and early-stage projects todemonstratecapability and gather feedback.

- Collaborate with technical and product teams to translate customer requirements into clear inputs for development and delivery.

- Maintainaccuratepipeline data, track opportunity progress, and contribute to forecasting and reporting.

- Experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, ideally within a technical or science-led environment.
- Exposure to B2B sales and/or business development in industries such as mining, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- A track recordof contributing to new opportunity development, includingidentifyingleads and supporting early commercial traction.
- Strong communicationskills across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Confidence engaging in external meetings and supporting commercial discussions, including proposals and partnership conversations.
- Comfortable operating in a energetic, evolving environment, with an understanding of how startups or growth-stage companies work.
- Ability to develop clear, high-quality proposals, presentations, and customer-facing materials.
- Experience in mining or resources isadvantageous, with a background in geology, geophysics, or earth sciences highly regarded.
