Warehouse Team Member - Exciting Opportunity - Day Shift …, Melbourne

Our Melbourne based Distribution Centre in Truganina offers a full-time warehouse role within a growing, Australian‑owned family business that supplies packaging and processing consumables to the food industry across Australia. Previous warehouse experience is not essential; the ideal candidate has a positive "can do" attitude, strong attention to detail, a sense of humour, and good overall fitness to carry out all aspects of warehousing. This role involves outbound order fulfilment, receipting of inbound goods, inventory management, forklift operation, loading and unloading, and chain mesh PPE repair. The position is Monday-Friday, full‑time day shift with no afternoon or night shifts required. Responsibilities
- Fulfil outbound customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Meet internal outbound and inbound deadlines
- Receipting of inbound products
- Inventory management and control
- Awareness and passion to exceed customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and tidy work setting
- Operate reach forklift truck and counter‑balance forklifts when & if required
- Manual handling up to 20 kg
- Respect all team members and the environment

- Inspect, review and repair chain mesh gloves and apparel (full training provided)
- Maintain accurate records and communication processes of repairs Qualifications
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Have a good sense of humour
- Have a strong attention to detail and pride in quality presentation
- Exceptional hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Remain cool, calm and focused under pressure with a consistent high output
- Forklift licence, although preferred, not essential (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in warehousing and/or technical repair roles is a bonus
