Education and Training Manager The Education and Training Manager plays a key role in building capability across MetLife's HSECi team, supporting our partnership with Hostplus to deliver a market-first service experience for members. Guided by our purpose — always with you, building a more confident future — and our New Frontier strategy, this role focuses on equipping employees with the skills, knowledge and ways of working required to deliver high-quality, compliant and efficient member outcomes. You will design, deliver and continuously improve practical learning solutions, leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools (where appropriate) to enhance learning effectiveness, productivity and engagement in line with MetLife-approved technologies and governance. Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain practical training programs aligned to HSECi service models, operational priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver and facilitate face-to-face, virtual and digital learning solutions, including induction, refresher and upskilling programs.
- Develop and refresh learning materials (e-learning, SOPs, guides, assessments and facilitator content) to reflect process, system and policy changes.
- Apply and promote responsible use of MetLife-approved AI and digital tools (including Microsoft 365 Copilot) to enhance learning outcomes and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve training effectiveness using participation data, feedback, quality insights and performance outcomes. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in learning and development, with a strong focus on training design and delivery.
- Proven instructional design and facilitation capability across in-person, virtual and digital learning environments.
- Practical experience using digital learning platforms and tools, with applied experience using AI tools to support work outputs.
- Solid judgement, attention to quality and ability to operate effectively in regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and prioritisation skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, Learning and Development or a related discipline.
- Certifications in instructional design or digital learning tools.
- Experience supporting learning in insurance, superannuation or financial services environments.
- Exposure to change, transformation or capability uplift programs within operational teams.
