Our client is seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager or National Sales Manager to lead the continued growth of its Height Access Division. This is a senior leadership role offering significant autonomy, where you will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies while remaining actively involved in key client engagements. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Director, you will work closely with state-based Height Access leads and the estimating team to drive new business, strengthen existing client relationships, and identify emerging market opportunities across both new build construction and established facilities management clients. Our client is a well-established provider of construction and facilities management services, with over 25 years of operation and a team of 130 staff across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane and is recognised as a market leader across several industry categories. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior sales leader looking to take ownership of a national division and play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of a respected, multi-disciplinary organisation. Height access includes anchor points, ladders, walkways, guardrails, davit and needles, HVAC platforms, roof access hatches, modular access etc. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Leading and executing national sales strategies for the Height Access Division
- Driving revenue growth across construction and facilities management markets
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Working closely with state-based leaders and estimating teams to secure new opportunities
- Identifying new markets, sectors and growth opportunities nationally
- Providing hands-on sales leadership while maintaining a strategic, big-picture focus
- Collaborating with internal business units to maximise cross-division opportunities
- Representing the Height Access Division at client meetings, presentations and negotiations
- Supporting forecasting, reporting and performance tracking against sales targets Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven sales leadership experience, ideally within the Height Safety industry
- Alternatively, strong senior sales experience within the construction sector
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
- Solid commercial acumen and understanding of construction and FM markets
- Ability to build effective relationships across internal teams and external clients
- Experience leading growth initiatives at a national or multi-state level Personal Attributes:
