Senior Product Designer - $950p/d (Melbourne)

⏰ 6-month contract, strong potential to extend Visual craft and UI quality are non-negotiable The Company One of Australia's largest consumer-facing digital platforms is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their in-house digital product team. The platform serves millions of Australians and sits at the centre of a major retail transformation program, one with strong executive visibility and real investment behind it. The design function is mature and product-led, with a collaborative cross-functional delivery model and ways of working that are already well established. You'd be joining a team that takes craft seriously. The Role This is a hands-on, end-to-end design role embedded within a journey-based product team. You'll own design from discovery through to delivery across core customer-facing experiences on web and mobile, working closely with Product, Engineering and Content to ship work that is both commercially sound and genuinely well made. You'll also be contributing to an existing design system, so component-based thinking and an eye for consistency at scale are important. What We're Looking For
- A Senior Product Designer with strong end-to-end capability and a clear, demonstrable strength in UI and visual design
- A portfolio that reflects genuine craft — polished, considered UI with strong typography, layout and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing for both web and native mobile environments
- Background in large-scale Australian consumer digital, energy, telco, banking, insurance or retail
- High level of craft across layout, typography, interaction and visual hierarchy
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within and contributing to design systems
- Exposure to CMS platforms like AEM is a bonus but not essential Why Apply
