14 month FTC Accountant opportunity within a multinational technology business Your new company . Our client is a global leader in technology-enabled services for the financial services sector, partnering with asset managers, banks and investment firms worldwide. They deliver innovative solutions across fund administration, operations, and front-to-back office platforms, helping clients navigate complexity and drive performance. With a strong presence in the Australian market and broader APAC region, the business offers a team-oriented, high-performing environment and exposure to a diverse portfolio of institutional clients. There is now an opportunity for an Accountant to join the team on a 14-month FTC Your new role . Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- End-to-end billing and revenue recognition of projects
- Weekly cash flow forecasting for two entities
- Weekly follow-up and monthly review completion of project timesheets
- Monthly FBT calculation and accrual journal
- BAS returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general journals
- End of month cost allocation What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be CPA/CA qualified or near qualified. Experience in Workday will be desirable. Strong understanding and experience in revenue recognition will be necessary for this role. What you'll get in return
