Job Title: Education Manager 2 – Electronics Location: HMAS Cerberus Salary: $136,711 p.a. + Super About the Role Chisholm is seeking an experienced, student‑focused Education Manager for our Defence Delivery Business Area.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to deliver operational outcomes, including teacher performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads, and student progress.
- Manage and mitigate project risks to ensure contractual obligations are met and escalation processes are implemented within agreed timelines.
- Remain agile and solution‑focused in response to stakeholder needs and challenges.
- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational development requirements.
- Participate in developing and implementing student retention strategies that improve learning outcomes across the school.
- Examine and recommend alternative versatile delivery strategies.
- Ensure high‑quality, current resources, teaching materials, and assessments are used in teaching and learning activities.
- Confirm that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
- Maximise student engagement, retention, satisfaction, and a positive teaching workplace through collaboration with the Defence Delivery team and key stakeholders.
- Implement methods and strategies to support learners, including mentoring, work preparation programs, study‑skills support, alternative delivery and assessment methodologies, and communication strategies. Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications meeting the Standards for RTOs 2025.
- Adult teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies required for the teaching discipline.
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the required level and industry currency. Benefits
