Candidates with prior Middle East/Gulf experience will be preferred. The role involves coordinating marine maintenance, repair, and operational activities while supporting project execution and vessel maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams
- Assist in preparing Project Work Packs and operational instructions
- Support planning and execution of maintenance activities for vessels and marine equipment
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies
- Coordinate and schedule project activities to meet operational deadlines
- Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules and critical timelines
- Track project progress, costs, and resource utilization
- Evaluate and update project forecasts based on actual progress and expenses
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and management for smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate project, maintenance, and operational documentation Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, marine maintenance, or dry dock operations
- Candidates with Middle East/Gulf experience will be preferred
- Robust understanding of marine engineering operations and maintenance planning
- Ability to manage project schedules, timelines, and operational activities
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
