Quality Engineer – Playwright (Melbourne)

The Role We are seeking a Quality Engineer with solid Playwright experience to join a high‑performing enterprise delivery team based in Melbourne. This is a hands‑on automation role focused on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks across modern web applications and integrated platforms. You will work closely with developers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to drive quality outcomes across the software delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright
- Execute automated regression, functional, and integration testing
- Work closely with developers and product teams within Agile environments
- Develop reusable automation scripts and testing components
- Support API and end‑to‑end testing activities
- Contribute to CI/CD and continuous testing practices
- Raise, track, and manage defects through to resolution
- Support overall quality engineering best practices across the project Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Playwright automation
- Solid understanding of Quality Engineering principles
- Experience across UI automation testing, API testing, regression testing, integration testing
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to Have
- Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks
- Performance or mobile testing exposure beneficial Why Join?
