Position Title: National Account Manager
- Coles Position Type: Regular

About The Role This is a key commercial role managing one of McCain’s most important retail customers – Coles Supermarkets and Online. Reporting to the National Business Manager, Coles, you’ll be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering commercial outcomes, and ensuring smooth execution across the account. You’ll step into an established partnership and play an important role in building positive momentum while aligning with how the customer operates. This role suits someone who can hit the ground running, balance multiple priorities, and bring a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to day-to-day account management. What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver against agreed targets across volume, net sales and gross profit for the Coles account
- Execute customer plans aligned to both McCain and Coles priorities
- Support the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBP)
- Manage Trade Investment and promotional activity to drive strong commercial outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Coles stakeholders at buyer level
- Monitor performance, manage forecasts, and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Category, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to deliver execution
- Ensure accuracy and discipline across trade spend, forecasting and reporting What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Experience in account management roles with ownership of a customer, category, or portfolio
- Exposure to working with major retail customers (e.g. Coles or Woolworths) at a relevant level
- Proven ability to deliver commercial outcomes through strong execution and planning
- Experience with Trade Investment, promotional planning and forecasting
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience working with Trade Investment, forecasting or performance tracking
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving capability, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams About The Team You’ll be part of the Retail Sales team, working closely with the National Business Manager, Coles, and cross-functional partners across Category, Marketing and Supply Chain.
