- Proactively manage all claims within your portfolio from notification to closure.
- Apply Outcome‑focused, Injury‑based and Risk‑informed (OIR) Claims Management Principles when liaising with all claim stakeholders.
- Interpret and accurately apply relevant legislation, guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Meet SRC Act compliance requirements.
- Deliver sustainable, cost‑effective claim outcomes in partnership with stakeholders.
- Identify common trends across the portfolio and communicate them to the client.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Complete daily workflow to GB and client service standards, including:
- Proficient liability assessments and decisions.
- NWE calculations.
- Rehab and return‑to‑work plans.
- Assessment of daily third‑party provider invoices.
- Assessment of weekly compensation payment entitlements.
- Sustain the portfolio’s existing high file closure rate. Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of self‑insurance case management experience in the SRC Act.
- Experience delivering excellent return‑to‑work outcomes.
- Highly efficient with excellent data accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Expert customer‑service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High level of professionalism.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Solution focused with proactive, outcome‑based strategies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and claims system database(s).
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline are desirable but not compulsory. Benefits
