- au$130000.00 per annum**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the operation of critical Tolling Systema, managing all related tasks including batches, backups, interfaces, and processing.
- Lead the Computer System Operator Team to maintain and administer the company’s information systems effectively.
- Ensure the tolling components integrate smoothly with other system components and the wider organisation.
- Manage tolling operations, set goals, facilitate work, resolve issues, and appraise team performance.
- Document key processes, maintain records in our document management system, and verify operational processes during system testing phases.
- Drive operational cost efficiencies through the implementation of smarter, more robust, and cost-effective processes.
- Manage and optimise the scheduling tool, ensuring efficient and correct processing of tasks.
- Implement, test, and migrate batch processing and Elastic Stack dashboards.
- Meet all Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Coordinate the integration of recent tasks into operational procedures and monitor system and task status.
- Contribute to operational-related activities, including change management and operation schedules.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and maintenance for critical systems.
- Investigate and resolve incidents to root cause analysis, maintaining system integrity.
- Streamline and automate processes to achieve cost reduction.
- Review system logs and take appropriate action.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Proven leadership experience in an IT operations environment.
- Familiarity with tolling systems and batch processing.
- Experience with document management systems such as Confluence and SharePoint.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools like BMC Control-M and RedHat Ansible.
- Knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash).
- Strong understanding of IT policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Experience in preparing incident reports and maintaining a chronology of events during outage periods and providing status updates to management and turnover reporting to other shifts and departments.
- Implementing procedures and follow up on missing, incomplete or unresolved issues.
