Rome, Italy – Minimum 2 weeks.
Cost & Fee Includes
From 1950 EUR. Fee includes all food, accommodation, pre‑departure and in‑country support, orientation, and all project related activities. Does not include flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations.
Perks & Opportunities
Care for shelter animals by feeding, grooming, and providing companionship to dogs and cats in need.
Responsibilities
Support local staff with daily tasks, shelter upkeep, and animal enrichment activities.
Feed, groom, and care for animals, including those with specific health conditions such as FeLV in cats.
Assist with shelter maintenance and public awareness campaigns.
Work closely with local non‑profit staff, contributing to everyday operations and supporting efforts to find loving homes for adoptable animals.
Raise awareness through communication campaigns promoting adoption, especially for older or special‑needs animals.
Participate in outreach initiatives that promote the adoption of older animals and raise awareness about responsible pet ownership.
Qualifications
No previous experience required; bring compassion, dedication, and a willingness to learn.
