The Focus Of The Role: This is a hands on accounting role within a high quality financial services platform, supporting a diversified portfolio of real asset investments. You will take ownership of core reporting while working closely with front office and operational teams. A key part of the role is identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and helping evolve how the accounting function supports a growing and increasingly complex portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts with explicit, value add commentary on balance sheet and P&L; movements

Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring integrity across portfolio structures

Support investor and statutory reporting requirements

Assist with tax reporting including BAS, fund payments, and income tax returns

Partner closely with stakeholders across investments, development, and operations

Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across reporting and workflows

Drive improvements to month end processes, reconciliations, and reporting outputs

Contribute to automation, standardisation, and better use of systems

Support broader business improvement initiatives across accounting and operations

Support onboarding and transition of current assets, developments, and capital projects

Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders

The Ideal Profile

Experience within fund, property, or portfolio accounting

Exposure to real assets, property, or infrastructure is highly regarded

CA or CPA qualified or working towards

Robust technical accounting capability and attention to detail

Proven experience improving processes, not just operating within them

Curious mindset with a willingness to challenge and improve existing ways of working

Confident working with stakeholders across finance and operations
