- Classification: Professional Officer G1-4: $75,728 to $145,442 per annum (FTE) commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience plus super and leave loading About the Role As a Development Officer, you will provide technical expertise to support research and drive improved productivity, profitability and sustainability across NSW’s extensive livestock industries. You will work closely with researchers and industry stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities, contribute to research and development projects, and translate findings into practical outcomes for producers. A key focus of the role is delivering effective technology transfer through workshops, publications and digital resources that build resilience and support adoption of innovative practices in the NSW livestock sectors. About You To be successful in the role, you must hold
- A degree in Agricultural Science, Animal Science or a related discipline
- A current NSW Driver Licence As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the extensive livestock industry
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience sourcing, analysing and applying research or industry information
- Experience developing and delivering extension activities such as workshops, field days, publications or digital resources
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences
