Mail Distribution Officer (Melton)

Part-time Postal Worker

We’re business partner with Australia Post and have been so for 20 years. We are looking for postal rider to fulfill our contract with Australia Post. We are bound by Australia Post standard and we represent Australia Post out in the community.

Job Descriptions
- Operating and delivering mail and small packets on our motorcycle
- You will be delivering out on the road and interacting with the local community representing Australia Post
- Early start in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels at facility
- Complete daily vehicle checks prior to delivery
- Loading bike for deliveries
- Delivering outdoor in all types of weather rain or shine to home and business except during extreme weather

Requirement
- Hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence.
- Pass our mandatory riding assessment
- Pass Aust Post security clearance
- Flexible with working additional hours if required
- Meet our protected working load limit of weighing 90kgs or less due to payload of the motorcycle.
- Having excellent attention to details, great memory is a plus!

- Wet weather gear and Aust Post Uniform
- Fuel for bikes

Pay rate
- $27 to $30 per hour plus 12% super
- Minimum work hours 4hrs/day Monday to Friday.
- Probationary Period of 6 months
