- Salary Range $44.29
- $46.95 per hour + 11% Super**

**The Opportunity**
Provide administrative support to the Health Connected Community department and support with the daily operational requirements within Councils community centres and Neighbourhood Houses. The team are seeking an individual who has strong administration skills and demonstrated excellent customer service skills preferably with experience in Local Government and/or a community services environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to Council’s Community Participation and Connection team delivering accessible community programs and activities.
- Support the production and dissemination of marketing initiatives and materials to promote Council’s programs using social media, local media, newsletters, notice boards and other communication mediums.
- Undertake administrative duties and develop systems which support the effective day-to-day operation of Community Participation and Connection programs operations, including participation in initiatives to review and implement improved work practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to participants of Council programs and users of Community Centre's and Neighbourhood Houses.
- Support volunteers, tutors and community groups relevant to the Council’s community programs.

**About you**
**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Secondary school certificate with substantial experience in the provision of customer service and/or administration functions or a minimum of a post-trades certificate in a relevant field.
- Experience in maintaining administrative systems and sound skills & knowledge of Microsoft Software Applications.
- An understanding of community development and/or the role of Neighbourhood Houses, community learning and programs.
- Proven time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and organise work activities to manage ongoing requests for action or information from customers.
- Communicate effectively to develop effective working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Hold a Current valid Victorian driver’s licence and Current valid Working with Children’s Check
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
