School Cleaner (Weir Views)

**Role Description/Criteria**

**Are you seeking an exciting new challenge in one of Melbourne’s newest Catholic primary schools?**

We are advertising an exciting opportunity to join our team as a **school cleaner**.

St Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Primary School is located in the suburb of Weir Views, just 40 minutes from the CBD and 5 minutes from the Western Freeway.

This is an **ongoing, part-time position** classified under the _2022 CMEA_ _Agreement _as School Services Officer Category A Level 1. The pay for this position will be pro-rata of a full-time salary from $55,369 to $58,873 dependent on prior experience and a salary assessment. The hours of employment for this position will be **30 hours** spread over **five days**. As a Category A position, this role is required to work one week of the school holidays.

This position will commence on **Monday, February 17, 2025,** but an earlier start is preferable.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and Child Safe schools.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**

The successful applicant will:

- demonstrate sound time management skills
- the capacity to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the school and to take the initiative to address areas where further cleaning might be required
- the capacity to work as part of a team
