**Band 5
- Salary Range $78,646 to $90,563 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO**

**The Opportunity**
The Men’s Sheds Programs Officer supports the development and management of Councils Men’s Shed program, and the delivery of accessible and responsive programs and services.
This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Shed programs. The key responsibilities entail working closely with volunteer Team Leaders, as the key point of contact to address any issues of concern and maintain Council’s administrative processes.
The team are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who has facility management experience and strong skills working with volunteers to activate local communities using a place-based community development approach.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Shed program ensuring effective service delivery in a safe and inviting environment.
- Deliver opportunities and programs that encourage participation by men that promote men’s health and wellbeing, lifelong learning and social interaction.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders ensuring Council is proactive and responsive to community needs.
- Implement operational procedures, guidelines and reporting systems to ensure the Men’s Shed program exhibits the highest standards of customer service, administrative management, Occupational Health & Safety and risk management.

**About you**
**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary qualification in community development, health services or related discipline with relevant work skills in community-based program delivery or facility management.
- Experienced in OH&S; and risk management and effectively mitigating risks relevant to the operations of a community space, or an workplace containing machinery.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificate.
