Administration Support Officer – Ravenhall Correctional Centre GEO Healthcare Plus is seeking a highly organised and motivated Administration Support Officer to join our dedicated team within the Medical Centre at Ravenhall Correctional Centre. This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of healthcare services to patients in a correctional environment. Part‑time employment is available. Full‑time salary: AU$59,280 plus super; part‑time paid pro‑rata. Responsibilities
- Book internal clinic appointments within KPI timeframes
- Coordinate external hospital appointments (face‑to‑face or Telehealth), working with medical escort availability
- Maintain accurate registers and records
- Ensure compliance with KPI and SDO requirements
- Collaborate effectively with the Medical Centre and Correctional Centre teams
- Arrange prisoner transfers of medical records and medication
- Provide exceptional customer service via face‑to‑face, phone, and email
- Using JCare Electronic Medical Record system for documentation and reporting
- Perform daily reporting and scanning tasks
- Manage ordering and storage of medical stock
- Process Freedom of Information requests
- Always maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Arrange referrals to approved hospitals
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Administration Manager and Health Services Manager Qualifications
- Proven experience in a healthcare or correctional administration setting (preferred)
- Robust organisational, time management and attention to detail skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
