Medical Receptionist (Mentone)

Mentone Medical Clinic is located at Thrift Park Shopping Centre and has been operating since 2015. We are a mixed billing Practice, operating between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 1pm Saturdays. We are currently looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.

Joining our team of Doctors, Practice Nurses and Administration staff, we offer a friendly work environment, supported with ongoing training and possible opportunities for career development.

We have one position available for the following days:

- Monday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday as needed
- As well as flexibility for some leave coverage

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- answering incoming calls
- greeting patients
- booking appointments via phone and in person
- taking payments/processing Medicare claims
- scanning
- faxing
- managing referrals
- liaising with Doctors/Specialists
- cleaning & restocking offices
- general administration

Do you have the qualities that we are looking for?
- Previous Medical Reception / Reception experience preferable
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with a high attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Microsoft office and administration skills
- Team player with a "can do" attitude
- Previous experience using a booking software program (eg: Best Practice)

Remuneration is as per Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027] and experience.

Pay: From $21.83 per hour
