Our client is a family-owned taxi-truck and warehousing business that has been in operation for over 30 years.

Location: Heatherton, VIC

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Fleet Controller is responsible for maintaining and managing the efficient flow of work, ensuring all bookings are dispatched in a timely manner, that there are enough fleet vehicles to cover all incoming work and ensuring all problems and issues are resolved quickly.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with all workplace policies
- Managing a high volume of calls from drivers and customers
- Allocating jobs to fleets in accordance with the suitable policies and procedures
- Monitor driver locations and maintain awareness of fleet location
- Ensure all data and paperwork is collected and made ready for invoicing
- Constant communication with drivers throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of operations
- Ensure pallets are exchanged and returned, movements recorded
- Communication with customers to advise of any delays, issues or extra charges
- Data-entry and invoicing
- Providing a high level of customer service

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**
- High level of attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Honest and transparent

**ESSENTIAL**
- 2 years of relevant experience in freight solutions / logistics and fleet management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
