**The role**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain team, located in Mentone. Reporting to the Head of Logistics and Customer Service, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Design, develop, implement and maintain the inventory control function.
- Ensure optimum stock levels comply with sales demands and stock surplus.
- Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems and procedures.
- Track orders and transfers whilst keeping updated and accurate records and information.
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory system to ensure high levels of accuracy.
- Liaise with finance to ensure all inventory movements are reconciled back to the General Ledger.

**The Person** The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a similar inventory and logistics focused role, ideally within the FMCG sector as well as;
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- High levels of attention to detail and be able to proactively plan with best practice methods.
- Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP.
- Solid understanding of inventory process flows through a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial acumen and a basic knowledge of Inventory accounting.
