About the role Dynaton Electrics Pty Ltd is seeking experienced NBN PIT & PIPE AND ELECTRICAL POLE TO PIT Civil Labourers and Leading Hands to join our growing team in Heatherton,East VIC. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to work on exciting projects and contribute to the expansion of our telecommunications & Electrical infrastructure. What you'll be doing
- Excavating and backfilling pits, manholes and trenches for the installation of underground Telecommunication and Electrical cables
- Installing, connecting and maintaining underground pits, pipes and conduits
- Operating various machinery and equipment such as jackhammers, compaction equipment, and hand tools
- Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior team members as a Leading Hand
- Installation for new developments in the south eastern suburbs Melbourne What we're looking for
- People who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a close-knit team
- Reliable team players who take pride in quality workmanship and safety
- Proven experience as a Labourer or Leading Hand in the civil construction industry
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices and ability to work safely in an active construction site
- Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools, and light machinery
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team
