We now have a fantastic opportunity for a **Commercial Finance Business Partner** to join our dynamic and growing business. Reporting to the Finance Manager
- Category & Commercial Solutions and based at our head office in Mentone / Moorabbin, you will be a trusted business partner to the Category team, providing financial information and insights to support effective management and strategic decision-making across the Commercial function.

This will include providing insights and support to positively impact business performance for key categories and customers through exemplary finance leadership.

**What you will do**:

- You will be a key player in the development and execution of the categories’ strategy (e.g., competitive analyses, consumer insights, portfolio strategy, growth drivers, role of private label, big bets, rev man levers), ensuring all strategic initiatives are grounded in sound financial criteria.
- Category Financial Plans
- coordinate the build and management of commercial controllable assumptions and factors in collaboration with the Channel Finance Business Partners and FP&A.;
- Ability to track, measure and adapt agreed plans to deliver against that strategy.
- Understand the impact and relationship with supply chain drivers, NPI strategic fit and profitability.
- 3-10-year projections
- Support the Category Strategy Teams in building long-term plans for future investments and monitor progress against those priorities.
- Active role managing and tracking progress on capital investments across categories (3 to 10 years).
- Identify and adopt process simplification and cost efficiencies for the category to enable Innovation and investment growth funding.
- Provide analyses, evaluations and implications of key learnings that will be applied in developing future best practices.
- Build the finance brand across the broader division and provide thought leadership on matters impacting financial performance.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex and large organisation, ideally within FMCG and/or Retail.
