Busy Bees Mermaid Waters is seeking a Certificate 3 qualified Assistant Educator to join our long standing team.

Essential Qualifications- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).- Current and valid Blue Card- Current First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes- Previous experience in an Assistant Educator, or similar role in an early childhood setting.- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.- Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting, as well as the ability to work in partnerships with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.- Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.- Proficiency in using Storypark for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.- Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.- Ability to create an inviting and engaging environment where all children feel included and can thrive and learn.
