The Lumus Imaging team at the Epping Consulting Centre is looking for a Casual receptionist to join our department, working closely with a team of dedicated and skilled individuals. This role mostly involves outpatient appointments, with occasional interactions with patients from hospital transfers. The department operates between 7 am and 9 pm, with some weekend work available with competitive remuneration and opportunities to work at other cluster sites such as Bundoora and Greensborough.
Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients at the front desk and handling incoming telephone calls. Manage radiology exam bookings. Perform general clerical duties. Efficiently manage patient records with accurate data entry skills. Maintain courteous communication with other receptionists, referring doctors, and medical professionals. Handle billing and banking tasks related to Medicare, DVA, health funds, and work‑cover.
