Pre-Delivery Manager Major Motors – Isuzu Trucks About the Role Major Motors is seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Delivery Manager to lead our busy Pre-Delivery (PD) operation based in Forrestfield, Western Australia. This full-time leadership role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end pre-delivery process of new heavy vehicles, ensuring trucks are completed and delivered to customers to the highest standards. You must have expectational follow-up skills to ensure a smooth sales process and delivery to the customer. You will play a key role in coordinating vehicle builds, managing the process, liaising with other internal departments and customers, and ensuring all delivery deadlines are achieved efficiently. - Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Delivery Department
- Oversee workshop scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Coordinate and oversee the complete build process of new trucks from point of sale through to delivery to customer
- Liaise with sales department, suppliers and customers to ensure deadlines are met
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational performance and workflow
- Lead and support a team of heavy vehicle technicians and apprentices
- Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality outcomes
- Monitor department performance, including KPIs, budgets, and delivery targets
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and industry standards About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a Pre-Delivery, Service Manager, Workshop Supervisory, or similar leadership role within the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle builds, fit-outs, and pre-delivery processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Solid communication and customer relationship skills
