**About the role**

The primary objective of this role is to lead and Supervise the BULK delivery fleet at the Hazelmere depot. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient coordination among the BULK zone, drivers, and semi fleet, as well as working closely with the book-in and Pickups teams to ensure resources align with volumes.

**What you’ll do**
- Liaising between Sensitive Freight and book-ins for an efficient use of resources and labour to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Driver productivity, performance, presentation and attendance.
- Forecasts and forward planning.
- KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People.
- Compliance activities of Driver files, fatigue and record keeping of training.
- Toolboxes and Pre-start checks.
- Overtime controls to ensure that Team Global Express complies with Chain of Responsibility legislation.
- Route optimisation, Telematics, GPS and MDT scanning disciplines.

**What you’ll bring**
- Sound operational knowledge in a parcel delivery business
- Knowledge of OH&S; Principles.
- A sound understanding of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous substances.
- Sound knowledge of the geographical region to be covered
- Experience in fleet control (desired)
- The capacity to work in a busy time sensitive environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A sound knowledge in the effective use of radio communications
- Effective record keeping skills.
- Sound PC skills (desired)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to build effective relationships with drivers and other stakeholders.
