**The opportunity**: Sands Fridge Lines are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to assist our Finance department on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for performing duties which include but are not limited to:
- Daily allocation of payments received from clients.
- Proactively following up customer invoices and ensuring outstanding debts are collected promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to internal stakeholders’ enquiries regarding clients’ accounts.
- Provide weekly report on accounts receivable to Commercial Manager.
- Create new employer in our internal system.
- Provide support to the Finance Team as and when required.
- Cross coverage of duties or potential reallocation of duties m may be made to cover leave absences.

**Key Responsibilities for the role include but not limited to**:
- Freight checking on consignment notes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data captured by the processing team.
- Processing invoices for distribution on a weekly basis
- Clearing outstanding issues on customer accounts on the ERP system
- Attending to customer invoicing queries
- Filing of freight documents
- Any other duties as assigned by the team leader.
**You will require to be considered**:
- A minimum 5-years accounts receivable experience
- Intermediate to advanced skills across Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable to work successfully in a fast-paced and evolving working environment.
- The drive and passion to achieve personal and company goals.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in finance, accounting and business processes and systems.
- Experience in handling high volume of transactions
- Previous experience of working on ERP systems will be an added advantage.
