Frustrated husband here. When my wife and I first met, she was slim and curvaceous in all the right places. Over the years, she’s really let herself go, ballooning in weight from 65kg to a whopping 120+ (I’m not sure of her exact current weight because she refuses to tell me or allow me to weigh her).

I have tried to approach this with her as gently as I could, supporting her by implementing structure in her routine and incorporating exercise along with healthy eating.

I travel for work and that means I’m away from home for long periods, and each time I return home, my wife is noticeably heavier than the last time. Her obesity has become a huge problem and I’ve tried everything to help her, but now I’m at my wits end!

I have recently given her the ultimatum to take what I am saying seriously and lose all the excess weight or our marriage is over.

All she knows at present is that I am in the process of organising one on one personal training sessions ongoing,
