We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a First Year Apprentice Carpenter. As a First Year Apprentice Carpenter at ACE Homes Constructions, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills in carpentry and construction.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials.

Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning, organising materials, and setting up equipment.

Learn to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Gain knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes through on-the-job training and mentorship.

Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.

Take initiative to ask questions, seek feedback, and actively participate in learning opportunities.

Required Skills:

Requirements:

Has a Certificate II in Building Construction (Pre-apprenticeship) or relevant work experience

Has a white card

Solid passion for carpentry and a desire to learn and grow in the construction industry.

Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on elevated surfaces.

Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Preferred Skills

Having a licence is a plus
