Support Worker (Eagle Vale)

Eaglevale Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a vibrant home supporting female clients with intellectual and physical disabilities. This site provides high physical support and personal care.

We are looking for two skilled, proactive and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated casual workforce.

**Please note**:Applicants must have fulltime working rights and ability to cover the following shifts (8-4pm, 2:30-7:30pm and 4-8 Sleepover 6-8am)

**Your role**
- Support clients with intellectual and physical disabilities with high physical needs including personal care, safe manual handling, and the use of hoists and bowel care.
- Rigorously follow BIS and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site manager to best support complex behaviours.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing!

**Some of our requirements**: We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm
- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).
