MR Driver (Minto)

The Role Toll People are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and experienced MR Drivers for ongoing casual opportunities based in Sydney. These positions involve multi-drop deliveries of LPG gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers throughout Sydney and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will be physically fit, safety-focused, and confident providing excellent customer service while working independently on the road. This role is seasonal and will continue throughout the Winter peak period, with opportunities for ongoing casual or permanent employment for high-performing candidates. Shift Pattern Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays required 5:30am / 6:00am starts Approximately 8-10 hour shifts daily Key Responsibilities
- Multi-drop delivery of LPG gas cylinders to 20-30 customers per day
- Operating MR trucks safely and efficiently
- Manual loading and unloading of gas cylinders
- Using hydraulic lift systems on delivery vehicles
- Connecting and disconnecting gas cylinders
- Filling onsite gas tanks
- Completing delivery paperwork and service records accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance standards Skills & Experience
- Hold a current MR Driver Licence
- Minimum 8-10 months MR driving experience (or higher licence class)
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good numeracy and paperwork accuracy skills
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Professional presentation with a positive "can-do" attitude
- Warehouse or transport industry experience highly regarded
- Must be willing to complete a detailed site induction process
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends during peak periods Benefits
