Childcare Trainee (Minto)

Redfern Cottage Early Learning Centre Minto is an architecturally designed centre located at the historical Redfern Cottage site in Minto.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and enthusiastic persons who is interested in completing a Trainee Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This is a junior position within our service, school leavers are encouraged to apply.

As a trainee your duties include, but are not limited to:

- Contributing to the program
- Assisting room leader and staff in the day to day task e.g cleaning, preparing meals.
- Supervision of children during indoor and outdoor experiences
- Engaging children in meaningful learning experiences
- Providing a safe and fun environment for children

Our trainees are passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in children’s lives. As a trainee you will be a part of a supportive, experienced team who will support and mentor you throughout your studies. You must be committed to study and dedicated to learn through experience whilst working in the centre, there will be allocated study time during the working week.

The trainee position is full-time hours, Monday to Friday. There is potential for either full time or casual employment once the traineeship is completed.

Pay: From $18.70 per hour
