We are a private family-owned Transport and Logistics business, established for 10 years. We predominately run the Sydney Metro and NSW regional areas with the occasional eastern seaboard Linehaul runs. About Role With continued expansion and growth, we are seeking a motivated and passionate Sales Representative. This is a new and exciting hands-on role, crucial to ensuring we continue our overall expansion. We are looking for someone who is a natural hunter, self-motivated with proven reliability and strong communication skills. This role will be 80% on the road, gathering new business leads and converting these leads to new customers. Your extensive knowledge of transport, road linehaul or rail would be highly advantageous. This role WILL BE fast paced, you will work autonomously and be expected to generate recent business consistently. Duties
· Achieve set KPIs
· Generate New Business leads
· Build and maintain CRM system
· Convert leads to new ongoing customers
· Full onboard lifecycle updating customer records within the CRM system
· Be the primary point of contact for customers ensuring prompt professional responses to start with before fully handing over to the internal departments to take over.
· Collaborate with internal departments to enhance service delivery and support where necessary to meet the customer’s expectations.
· Update Sales report weekly for Weekly Manager meetings
· Provide quotes to customers, seal the deal as well maintaining the company margins To be successful in this role you will ideally possess
· Previous Logistics / Transport experience is highly advantageous
· 5+ years Sales experience – within the transport industries
· A pro-active and can-do attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
