nto. SWCT provides safe, secure, and accessible transport services to the frail aged, people with disabilities and their carers. SWCT operates a fleet of 52 vehicles ranging from Station Wagons to 25 seat Buses. The majority of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible and have been fitted with proper restraints to ensure safe and secure transport. Your excellent customer service skills will allow you to engage with our diverse customer base and ensure that they get from their homes to their appointments, shopping trips and social outings on time. You will be responsible for ensuring that transport is conducted in a safe manner in accordance with all relevant road rules, legislation and organisational procedures. You will also be required to assist clients on and off the buses and assist with mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs. This is a rapid-paced role and requires the ability to take direction, prioritize, manage your time and meet deadlines. *Essential Skills*
- Minimum LR (Light Rigid) Licence
- Transport for NSW Bus Drivers Authority (or be willing to obtain within first month of employment)
- First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain within first month of employment)
- Point to Point authorisation (or be willing to obtain within first month of employment)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Clean Driving Record
- An understanding of issues relevant to people who are transport disadvantaged including people who are frail aged, younger people with disabilities and their carers
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse communities
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated organisational, scheduling skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and show initiative *Desirable Skills*
