The Role We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join the team, focusing on the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of trucks and trailers. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to buy into a reputable industry brand.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

Perform engine overhauls, brake repairs, and suspension work.

Maintain accurate service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards.

Mentor and provide technical support to apprentices as required.

Respond to emergency breakdowns using the field service unit when needed.

What We Are Looking For

Trade Qualified: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).

Experienced: Solid background in heavy vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.

Professional: High standards regarding attendance, punctuality, and efficiency.

Safety-Minded: Strict adherence to WHS policies and roadworthy compliance.

Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.

Licensed: Current driver's licence (HR or higher is highly desirable).
