Our teams help clients to meet their goals and address underlying trauma and mental health issues, while also developing new skills to improve all aspects of their lives. Our services include withdrawal services; one-on-one assessment and treatment by psychologists and counsellors; group therapy; residential rehabilitation; and free education at Odyssey College. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. **Description**: Deliver counselling, group facilitation, and case management Ongoing professional development opportunities Odyssey NSW is a leading provider of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) treatment and support services. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Continuing Care Worker to provide individualised before and aftercare support to clients transitioning from residential treatment back into the community. Working across our residential sites, this role focuses on delivering one-to-one case management, facilitating therapeutic groups, and supporting clients in the Re-Entry stage of treatment—whether they reside at an Odyssey Re-Entry House or live independently. You’ll play a key role in maintaining recovery momentum and helping clients meet their goals across housing, employment, wellbeing, and social connection.. Odyssey offers a supportive and collaborative team environment, access to professional development, and the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of people seeking change **Skills and Experiences**: Relevant VET or tertiary qualification e.g. Case Management and Social Work Significant experience supporting persons with alcohol and other drugs support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-existing support needs. Demonstrated experience providing case management/care coordination in a similar context and setting. Demonstrable experience working in team environment with internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver coordinated support. Demonstrated experience undertaking brief and comprehensive assessment as well as ongoing assessment of client support needs. Demonstrated experience developing care plans. Experience working within a non-government AOD and/or MH environment. Experience in provision of one-to-one support for people with AOD and/or Mental Health support needs. Computer literacy including understanding of MS Office Suite and use of Client Management Systems. Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing. Understanding of Privacy Act and its practical implementation. Hold a current NSW Driver's License. COVID vaccinated. Hold or have the ability to obtain a Criminal History Check and Working With Children clearance for paid employment.
