Medical Receptionist (Como)

Auspoint Skin Cancer and Health is growing and looking for an experienced medical receptionist, who is highly motivated and embraced our team culture. The position is well suited to an individual that is mature disposition, caring, team-oriented and has professional approach in dealing with the patients and answers to enquires.

**About the Role**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience in practice administrative position
- Experience in Medical software (Best Practice preferred), accounting systems and reporting processes
- An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare Billing Scheme
- Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
- Good communication and documentation skills
- An exemplary work ethic
- A keen eye for detail
- An appreciation for a strong, trust-based team culture
- Professional telephone manner with answering incoming calls to the Practice and managing patient enquiries
- Scheduling patient appointments for both locations including Medical cosmetic clinic
- checking patients in/out of appointments, obtaining test results, organising necessary follow-up appointments
- Invoicing and receipting payments
- Stock management
